Emergency Scrubbers, Exhaust Scrubbers, Fume Scrubbers - The Orion Series™ by
Advanced Air Technologies

Proven, Tested Emergency Emissions Protection

Emergency ScrubberYou can rely on Advanced Air Technologies’ state-of-the-art emergency scrubbers to provide you with peace of mind in the face of potentially hazardous exhaust fume releases at your facility. The Uniform Fire Code (UFC) requires that areas holding certain toxic, hazardous or explosive compounds or fumes be provided with a continuous exhaust and that an emission control system be installed to treat any accidental releases. Generally, the releases must be controlled to a level less than half of the published Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health Concentrations (IDLH): levels set by OSHA or other government agencies. The rules can be complex and are not limited only to storage areas, but also apply to quantities "in use" within the process area.

AAT specializes in the design of emission controls that meet these requirements. Often we can combine the necessary emergency requirements with modifications to the process scrubber, thereby saving the purchase of additional equipment. Our emergency scrubbers can respond to the fume release automatically, removing large quantities of toxic or hazardous vapors and exhaust fumes during an accidental spill, tank rupture, or other emergency.

After thorough analysis, we offer several fume scrubbers or exhaust scrubber solutions based on your inventory, local regulations, plant locations and various other factors. Our experience in designing emergency scrubbers for many different chemicals will provide you with the assurance that an accident is safely handled with minimal impact on the environment.
